Overview
The aim of the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) is to promote prompt and timely access for patients to consultant-delivered assessments for patients referred by their GP. The service includes access to diagnostic testing where appropriate and allows patients to receive expert specialist review in a timely manner.
