We aim to make your visit as comfortable and smooth as possible. Here’s all you need to know:
Daily: 6:00 PM-8:00 PM
Visiting outside these hours requires approval from the Nurse Manager on the ward.
Internet Access:
Free Wi-Fi service available in all patient areas and in the Snack Room. Register at reception to connect.
No ATM on-site:
Please bring a small amount of cash with you.

Pastoral Care is available to ALL who wish to avail of it, whether an individual expresses a particular belief or religious affiliation or not.
In response to the individual needs of our patients, we welcome clergy / leaders of all religious denominations to visit and support patients of their own faith tradition / belief system.
Opening Hours
Our Normal Hours of Service are Mondays: 8.45am to 6.00pm; Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 8.45am to 4.45pm; Fridays: 9.30am to 4.00pm; Sundays: 8.45am to 12.30pm.
Location:
Our Chapel is located on the ground floor and is open 24 hours a day, providing an oasis of calm to all for prayer and reflection.
Mass is celebrated at 9.30a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
All services are transmitted from the Chapel to patients’ rooms on T.V. Channel 7.
Holy Communion is available on request from the member(s) of the Pastoral Care Team on duty.
Clergy from St. John’s and neighbouring parishes are available provide Sacramental Care on request.

Car parking and Disabled parking at Bon Secours Hospital Tralee
There are two public car parks on the hospital campus. The main car park is located at the Main Entrance which is accessed via the Balloonagh Rd and the second car park is located at Entrance 2 which can be accessed via Strand St.
At both entrances, there is a pay-upon-leaving system is in operation. Upon arrival, please take a ticket but please be advised that the first 15 minutes of parking is free.
There are three pay stations located on the hospital campus as follows:
- Outside the Main Entrance on the right-hand side.
- Inside the door of Entrance 2
- In the Kerry Clinic (Consultants Rooms)
All our pay stations take cash and card.
Disabled Parking
There are 7 disabled car park spaces located on the hospital campus as follows:
- 2 located in the Entrance 2 car park which is accessed via Strand St.
- 2 located outside the door of Entrance 2
- 3 located in the Main Entrance car park which is accessed via Balloonagh Rd.
Visitors/patients who have a disabled parking permit are exempt from car parking charges. When exiting, please drive to the exit barrier, press the intercom button, advise our receptionist staff that you have a disabled parking permit. You will then be asked to display your permit on the intercom screen. Our reception staff will then remotely lift the barrier. This process eliminates the requirement for visitors/patients who have a disabled parking permit to visit the reception desk prior to exiting the car park. This process is designed to make your visit smoother and more convenient.
