Visiting Policy
Bon Secours Hospital Limerick operates visiting times for patient’s family and friends to visit the following locations:
All wards : St. Lelia’s, St. Munchin’s, Barrington & Potel visiting times are between
2:00pm - 4:00pm
6:00pm - 8:30pm
- Only 2 visitors per patient at any one time.
- Visiting hours may be extended for compassionate reasons.
- Visiting times are in place to maintain a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
- Children under the age of 12 are not permitted, except in special circumstances. In such cases, please ensure that children understand the importance of maintaining a quiet and peaceful environment out of respect for the patient’s comfort and recovery. Children must be closely supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during their visit.
- Relatives and friends are requested not to visit if they have sore throats, flu like illness, vomiting, diarrhoea or other any other form of infection.
- Visitors are requested to refrain from bringing flowers into the hospital.
- Visitors are requested to enter and exit Bon Secours Hospital Limerick through the main entrance.
- Visitors are requested not to visit while under the influence of alcohol or any illicit substance.
- Pay and display parking available.
