Visiting Policy

Bon Secours Hospital Limerick operates visiting times for patient’s family and friends to visit the following locations:

  • St. Lelia’s & St. Munchin’s Wards between 6.00pm - 8.30pm
  • Barrington & Potel Wards between 2.00pm - 4.00pm and 6.00pm 8.30pm
  • Visiting hours may be extended for compassionate reasons.
  • Visiting times are in place to maintain a safe, secure and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
  • No more than two persons should visit a patient at any one time.
  • Children under the age of 12 are not permitted, except in special circumstances. In such cases, please ensure that children understand the importance of maintaining a quiet and peaceful environment out of respect for the patient’s comfort and recovery. Children must be closely supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during their visit.
  • Relatives and friends are requested not to visit if they have sore throats, flu like illness, vomiting, diarrhoea or other any other form of infection.
  • Visitors are requested to refrain from bringing flowers into the hospital.
  • Visitors are requested to enter and exit Bon Secours Hospital Limerick through the main entrance.
  • Visitors are requested not to visit while under the influence of alcohol or any illicit substance.
  • Pay and display parking available.
