Prof. Kiernan is a Consultant Cardiologist and Clinical Lead for Interventional Cardiology at Bon Secours Hospital, Limerick. He has extensive expertise in complex coronary intervention. He has spearheaded the development of key regional services, including primary PCI, significantly advancing cardiac care delivery in the region. Prof. Kiernan trained in Ireland and completed advanced fellowships in interventional cardiology and is widely recognised for his leadership in service development, clinical research, and medical education at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston.
