Professor Shona Tormey

Prof. Tormey has over 26 years postgraduate clinical experience, including 15 years as a Consultant Breast and Breast Oncoplastic surgeon currently appointed to the Breast Unit and General Surgery Department, in University Hospital Limerick 

As a Consultant, working in a National Cancer Centre with University affiliation, the unit has over 4000 new attendances per year and over 230 breast cancers per year. All aspects of a Breast Symptomatic service are provided, including high risk family history services and breast oncoplastic and reconstructive surgery. 

Prof. Tormey will be working in the Bon Secours Hospital Limerick Breast Care Centre our multidisciplinary team consists of breast surgeons, breast care nurse, radiologists, pathologists, and allied health professionals.
