Dr. Neasa Starr is a Consultant Cardiologist with a subspecialty interest in heart failure. She has played a key role in advancing integrated cardiac care in the Mid-West, including the development of a regional cardiology virtual ward as part of a national pilot programme. Dr. Starr completed her cardiology training in Ireland, followed by fellowships in cardiac devices and research in Geneva and Belfast, and advanced heart failure training at the Mater University Hospital Dublin as part of the heart transplant team. She has also undertaken specialist training in cardiac amyloidosis at the National Amyloidosis Centre, Royal Free London, gaining extensive clinical experience and contributing to clinical trials in emerging therapies.
