Dr. Cressida Brennan MB, MRCPI, FFR RCSI is a Consultant Radiologist with a specialist interest in breast radiology.

 

She completed her undergraduate medical training in 2005 at University College Cork. She completed her postgraduate radiology training in Cork between 2007 and 2011.

 

Between 2011 and 2013, Cressida completed sub-specialty fellowships in Women’s Imaging and Breast Imaging at University of Toronto where she worked with internationally recognised leaders in breast imaging and breast imaging related research.

In 2013, she was appointed Assistant Professor at University of Ottawa and Consultant Radiologist at The Ottawa Hospital.

 

Dr. Brennan was appointed Consultant Radiologist and Breast Radiologist at University Hospital Limerick in 2014. Since 2014, she has been clinical lead for breast radiology at UHL. She has co-authored peer-reviewed published articles both during her time in Canada and also in Ireland.

 

Dr. Brennan has a special interest in breast imaging guided intervention, as well as newer techniques including AI (Artificial Intelligence) in breast screening.

 

Dr. Brennan runs her private practice at Bon Secours Hospital, Ballysimon, Limerick.
