Overview

Palliative care is an advisory role and works in conjunction with other therapies such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy in order to achieve a positive influence on the course of the illness. Our team, led by a dedicated Consultant in Palliative Medicine, provides compassionate support and guidance to enhance patient comfort and quality of life.

We work closely with primary care teams and families, focusing on holistic care to address physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. Our Bon Secours Cork Cancer Centre offers dedicated expert care, helping patients and their families navigate their journey with dignity and support, always treating our patients as unique individuals.

Our consultants provide comprehensive consultation, evaluation, and treatment of conditions ranging from the most common to complex disorders.
