CELLSTORY Liquid Microneedling

CELLSTORY is a specialised form of liquid microneedling that uses microscopic structures called spicules, known as Microspear®, rather than a conventional microneedling device with mechanical needles.

These microscopic structures are worked into the skin as part of the treatment, creating temporary micro-pathways that can help active ingredients penetrate the skin more effectively. The treatment combines this technology with a carefully developed range of skincare ingredients to support skin renewal and improve the appearance of the complexion.

Unlike traditional microneedling, CELLSTORY does not use a mechanical needling pen. However, you may experience a prickling sensation, temporary redness or sensitivity during and after treatment.

CELLSTORY uses a specialised eight-step treatment protocol designed to prepare, treat and care for the skin.

The treatment combines Microspear® technology with selected active ingredients to help support skin renewal, improve the appearance of texture and promote a more luminous complexion.

The protocol includes skin preparation, application of the specialised treatment formulation, and soothing and hydrating products to support the skin afterwards. Each stage works together to provide a comprehensive skin rejuvenation experience.

Your treatment at CHRC begins with an assessment of your skin and a discussion of your concerns and desired results. This allows our practitioner to determine whether CELLSTORY is suitable for you.

The skin is then cleansed and prepared before the treatment products are applied as part of the eight-step protocol.

During the application, you may notice a fine prickling or tingling sensation as the Microspear® technology is worked into the skin. Soothing and hydrating products are applied to help support the skin following treatment.

Afterwards, you will receive guidance on how to care for your skin at home to support recovery and achieve the best possible outcome.

CELLSTORY may be an option if you are looking to improve the appearance of dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, enlarged pores or certain types of post-acne marks and pigmentation.

However, not every skin type or condition is suitable for treatment. A consultation is important, particularly if you have sensitive or inflamed skin, active skin conditions, a compromised skin barrier or a history of reactions to skincare treatments.

Please inform your practitioner if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take medication that may affect your skin, or have recently undergone a peel, laser treatment or another aesthetic procedure. Your suitability will be assessed individually before proceeding.

Some clients notice a fresher, brighter appearance following their first treatment. Improvements in skin texture and overall complexion may develop over the following days and weeks, depending on your individual skin response.

For more noticeable or sustained improvements, a course of treatments may be recommended. At CHRC, a course of four treatments, spaced approximately one month apart, is advised for optimal results, subject to your practitioner’s assessment.

Following your treatment, it is important to protect your skin and follow the aftercare instructions provided by your practitioner.

You may experience temporary redness, itching, swelling, sensitivity or a prickling sensation. Some dryness or flaking may develop around days three to five.

To support your skin after treatment:

• Keep your skincare routine simple: Use only the recommended calming serum, mask and gentle cleanser during the initial three-day aftercare period.
• Avoid active skincare ingredients: Do not use retinol, exfoliating acids, toners, exfoliators or oil-based products for seven days after treatment, in line with your aftercare instructions.
• Protect your skin from the sun: Apply suitable SPF and minimise excessive UV exposure.
• Avoid excess heat: Refrain from saunas, vigorous exercise and alcohol immediately after treatment, as these can increase skin temperature.
• Do not pick or exfoliate flaking skin: Allow your skin to recover naturally and maintain hydration as advised.

Your practitioner will provide detailed aftercare guidance tailored to your treatment.
