Bon Secours Care Village
We treat residents requiring long and short-term, palliative and post-operative care. Purpose-built care home facilities provide residents with the highest standard of treatment tailored to their needs, ensuring the right support at every stage of life.
Our highly skilled multidisciplinary team offers a holistic, personalised approach for each resident to support their health, happiness and dignity. An individual care plan is developed in collaboration with the resident and their family upon admission. Medical, psychological, spiritual and social needs are assessed and incorporated, alongside the resident’s personal care preferences.
All residents have access to the highest standard of specialised care services, including nurses on call 24/7. State-of-the-art rehabilitation is also available to enhance residents' quality of life through physiotherapy, occupational therapy, chiropody, podiatry, dietetics and wellness programmes.
Thanks to our hard-working activities team, residents are treated to a full schedule of activities and events to encourage socialising, physical activity and overall wellness.
Dedicated spaces are provided for exercise classes, arts and crafts, music therapy, movies and game nights. The activity calendar is regularly updated with themed events, holiday celebrations and guest performances from local entertainers.
We encourage our residents to participate in activities that align with their interests and abilities, fostering a sense of community and belonging - and most of all, having fun!
Our team organise fun community outings for residents. Whether it’s a day trip to a local attraction or a visit to a local business, we believe in empowering our residents to stay connected with the wider community.
Residents can also avail of our transportation service for medical appointments, shopping trips and other activities where mobility support is needed.
The care home facility is set on 3.6 hectares of mature woodland, offering residents a serene and peaceful escape to the outdoors. The private grounds include walking paths, beautifully landscaped gardens, seating areas and stunning views of the Lee Valley.
Residents can enjoy bird watching, gardening, or simply relaxing in these tranquil outdoor spaces. Our gardens are purposefully designed to encourage outdoor activity and provide a peaceful retreat for residents and visitors alike.
Visits from family and friends play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents. Our team welcome visitors to attend our events and spend meaningful time with their loved ones.
We are proud to offer comprehensive spiritual care to residents. Our services are inclusive of all faiths, celebrating the diversity at home in the Care Village.
Our on-site chapel provides daily prayer and mass services for anyone who wishes to attend. The chapel also acts as a space for private prayer, meditation and one-on-one pastoral care. Our trained team are on hand to offer guidance to residents, ensuring everyone can practice their faith in a safe and supportive environment.
We also commemorate a range of religious milestones and celebrations throughout the year. Recognising and celebrating the diversity of our residents and the spiritual beliefs they hold is a pillar of the care we provide.
