Dr Ray McLoughlin is a Consultant Radiologist with extensive expertise in abdominal imaging, interventional radiology, and cross-sectional body imaging and musculoskeletal MRI. He graduated from University College Cork in 1981 and has pursued advanced fellowship training in Canada. Dr McLoughlin has held prestigious academic and consultant appointments in Canada before returning to practice in Ireland. His special interest lies in imaging for melanoma and other advanced diagnostic procedures.
Dr McLoughlin completed his medical degree at University College Cork in 1981. He pursued fellowship training in Abdominal Imaging and Intervention at St. Paul's Hospital, Vancouver, Canada (1993-1994) and further specialised in Abdominal Interventional Radiology and MRI at Foothills Hospital, Alberta, Canada (1994-1995). This extensive training provided him with advanced skills in both diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Dr McLoughlin specialises in abdominal imaging, interventional radiology, and MRI, with a particular focus on imaging for melanoma. His expertise spans across advanced diagnostic procedures, providing comprehensive imaging services for patients with complex conditions.
