Dr. Ian Davidson is a Consultant Radiologist specialising in Diagnostic Radiology and Fluoroscopic Imaging, Cross-sectional Imaging, and Interventional Radiology. With extensive expertise in vascular imaging, oncology imaging and intervention, as well as abdominal and thoracic imaging, Dr. Davidson is a graduate of NUI Galway and has completed advanced training in vascular and interventional radiology in the UK. His career includes prestigious consultant appointments and a robust research background focused on vascular interventions and stroke imaging.
Education and Training
Dr Davidson graduated from NUI Galway in 1987. He undertook postgraduate training through the Trent Radiology Training Scheme in the UK from 1991 to 1997. Following this, he completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University College Hospital QMC in Nottingham, UK, from 1997 to 1998.
