About

Dr Natasha Jordan is a consultant rheumatologist at St James’s Hospital and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Trinity College Dublin.

A graduate of University College Dublin in 2000, Dr Jordan completed her specialist training in rheumatology and general internal medicine in Ireland, before obtaining an Arthritis Research UK (ARUK) fellowship to undertake a PhD at King’s College London, studying the genetics of lupus nephritis. During her research, she spent time at the Rockefeller University in New York and was the recipient of the Graham Hughes Clinical Research Fellowship. She worked for 5 years at the Louise Coote Lupus Unit, St Thomas’ Hospital and at The London Lupus and Rheumatology Centre.

Dr Jordan then held a substantive consultant post from 2015-2022 at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she was awarded NHS Clinical Excellence Awards in 2017 and 2018. While in Cambridge, Dr Jordan was Deputy Director of the Rheumatology Clinical Trials Unit and Clinical Research Network (CRN) Specialty Group Lead for Musculoskeletal Disorders for the East of England.

Interests

Dr Jordan looks after people with all kinds of muscle, bone, and joint conditions. She has a broad range of interests across the field of rheumatology, with sub-specialty expertise in SLE (lupus), Sjogren’s Syndrome and Antiphospholipid Syndrome.
