About
Ms Niamh McCawley graduated from Medicine in UCD in 2004 with Honours. She completed her specialist general surgery and colorectal training in Ireland in 2017. In 2010 she was awarded the degree of Doctor in Medicine (M.D) from RCSI for her investigation of novel treatments for colon cancer. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in General Surgery with a special interest in Colorectal in 2017.
She participated in a European Society of Colo-proctology Surgery (ESCP)Fellowship at The Digestive Surgery Department, University Hospital Poitiers, France.
She was appointed as a General & Colorectal Surgeon to Beaumont Hospital, Dublin 9 in 2018.
