Biography
Mr. Raouf Goubran is joining us from the University Hospital Galway as a Consultant General, Laparoscopic, and Colorectal Surgeon (MBBCh, MCh, FRCSI, FRCS Gen.). Mr. Goubran may be familiar to many of you, as he worked at University Hospital Kerry from 2006 in various roles within the General Surgical Department. In 2019, he moved to Cork University Hospital (CUH), where he worked for two years and achieved his specialist registration in June 2020. Since then, he has been working at University Hospital Galway, and we are delighted that he has decided to return to Kerry to work with us here at BSHT.
Mr. Goubran is a Consultant Surgeon in Laparoscopic and Colorectal Surgery, as well as in upper and lower GI endoscopy. He holds a Fellowship with the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and also an Intercollegiate Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland.
