Biography
Mr Mudassar Majeed is a fellowship trained General/Colorectal surgeon. He is originally from Pakistan but he moved to Ireland in 2011 and did his Higher Surgical training in Cork University Hospital.
Mr Majeed did an Mch in Surgical Sciences in UCC and he completed his Intercollegiate FRCS exam in General/Colorectal Surgery. He is also a Fellow of European Board of Coloproctology and was awarded the prestigious Lars Phalman medal for securing the top Position in the exam.
Mr Majeed received his Specialist Registration in General Surgery by IMC and GMC in 2020. He did his colorectal fellowship in Adenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and was awarded with Advanced Laparoscopic Colorectal Surgery fellowship by Royal College of Surgeons of England for another year in Newcastle.
Since 2022, he is back in Ireland and has been working as Consultant General/Colorectal Surgeon in UHL, Limerick.
