Dr. Quirke graduated from NUI Galway in 2003 and completed Higher Specialist Training in Emergency Medicine in 2016. He was awarded his Research Doctorate (MD) in 2016 for his work on the management of skin and soft tissue infections.
He was appointed as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine at Beaumont Hospital in 2016, where he continues to practice. He holds the title of Honorary Associate Clinical Professor at the RCSI School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
His clinical and academic interests include Research, Point of Care Ultrasound, and Medical Education.
