Director of masters in surgery Programme UCC.
Former chair dept of orthopaedics Cork University Hospital.
Board member of Irish Institute of Orthopaedics.
Professor Harty runs the research programme in Cork University Hospital. He has extensive research interests including cementless knee replacements, and revision knee systems. He is also an implant designer for a new intramedullary nailing system and founding director of Orthoxel.
