Dr Gerry O'Sullivan is a highly experienced Consultant Radiologist, with specialised training in interventional radiology. He graduated from University College Cork in 1990 and has completed extensive postgraduate training in the UK and the USA. Dr O'Sullivan's areas of expertise include venous disorders, venous thrombosis, thrombolysis, and minimally invasive tumour therapy.
Dr O'Sullivan graduated from University College Cork in 1990 and pursued postgraduate radiology training in the UK, completing training at Plymouth from 1993 to 1995 and St George’s Hospital in London from 1995 to 1998. He furthered his expertise with a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Stanford University, California, USA, from 1998 to 1999.
From 1999 to 2000, Dr O'Sullivan held a Consultant Radiologist position at Rush Presbyterian, St Luke’s in Chicago, USA, where he further developed his expertise in venous disorders and minimally invasive therapies.
Dr O'Sullivan has a special interest in venous thrombosis and related disorders, offering advanced treatments such as venous thrombolysis, thrombectomy, and embolisation. His expertise extends to minimally invasive tumour therapies, providing patients with leading-edge, non-surgical treatment options.
