Dr Omer Taha

Dr Omer Taha MBBS FRCP FACP CCT MRCP, has been registered on the specialist division of the GMC as a Consultant in Diabetes, Endocrinology & General Internal Medicine since 2016. Dr Taha completed both his core medical training and all his specialist training in the UK across various hospitals including Central Manchester University Hospitals, University Hospital of South Manchester, The Christie Hospital and Tameside General Hospital. Dr Taha worked in various roles in the UK before moving to Abu Dhabi where he is currently working as a Consultant Endocrinologist & Head of Department of Medicine. Dr Taha’s particular areas of interest include Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, all diabetes related complications, pituitary diseases, thyroid and adrenal disorders, obesity, pregnancy complicated with diabetes or endocrine disorders, familial hypercholesterolemia and Vitamin D deficiency.
