Anthony Glackin is an experienced full time private Consultant Urologist dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care in all aspects of urology. Known for his compassionate approach and clinical expertise, Mr Glackin combines advanced surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based practice.

He has expertise in:

General urology, including circumcision, hydrocoele repair, investigation of bothersome urinary symptoms, blood in the urine and urinary tract infections.

Diagnosis and treatment of prostate, bladder, testis and kidney cancers

Mr Glackin practiced as a Consultant Urologist in the NHS and private sector before joining Bon Secours Hospital Limerick full time in 2025. He graduated in Medicine from University College Dublin in 1998 and holds a Doctorate from Queen's University Belfast in 2005 for research into the treatment of bladder cancer. He is a Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He was the Programme Director for Urology in Northern Ireland for 6 years until 2025.
