I have worked at Bon Secours, Tralee for over 20 years and have always felt valued as a member of the hospitals multi-disciplinary team. Patient care and the highest standards of quality are integral to everything that we do. Staff education and career progression is promoted by hospital management and I, along with many of my colleagues have been given the opportunity to avail of this. I am proud to work with incredibly talented colleagues and grateful to be able to contribute to the continued success of the hospital.
I have been working in the Respiratory Department here in the Bons Secours Hospital in Tralee for five years now and still counting. Through these years, I have had the opportunity to be of help to those who are in need of my service. As a foreigner in this country, who used to work in a different nation, coming from a different culture and system, I have also found here a great working environment that helps me thrive and seek betterment as an individual.
I arrived in Ireland in December 2022, unsure of what to expect. Looking back, I am glad I made the move. It is reassuring to have such supportive management, and the hospital fosters an environment that allows me to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, the hospital has provided financial and academic support as I continue advancing my education, for which I am truly grateful.
