As part of our ongoing investment and equipment upgrades at Bon Secours Hospital Dublin, we recently acquired the AVVIGO+ system from Boston Scientific for our Cath Lab. This next-generation intravascular ultrasound - IVUS and FFR platform combines high-resolution imaging with advanced physiology data to provide detailed views of the heart’s internal structures, helping clinicians tailor treatment interventions for patients suffering with coronary artery disease.
The adoption of this best-in-class diagnostic tool will also reduce procedure times by speeding IVUS image acquisition and enhance our intravascular imaging and physiology capabilities. A special thank you to Chloe Nugent from Boston Scientific for her support.
