What to expect when applying for a job
Applying for a job with Bon Secours Health System Ireland is a structured process designed to find the best fit for each role.
Below steps 1-5 highlight the application process:
1. Job Application
- Find a role relevant to your skills: Browse available positions on our website, LinkedIn or Irish Jobs.ie Carefully review the job description and the relevant experience or qualifications required.
- Online Application: Apply via Rezoomo, fill out the online form with your personal details and submit your CV.
2. Initial Screening
- Review: Our HR team will review your application to ensure you meet the essential criteria.
- Shortlisting: If you meet the criteria, your application will be shortlisted for the next stage based on how well it matches the job requirements. Once shortlisting has been finalised, shortlisted applicants are invited to attend for interview. Candidates will be given adequate notice of the scheduled interview time and date.
3. Interview Stage
- Interview: After shortlisting, you will be invited to interview. Interviews are generally held face-to-face, but may also include a virtual format. Interviews are conducted by two or more individuals consisting of the hiring line manager/supervisor and a HR representative. A gender-balanced interview panel will be provided where possible, but this may not always be feasible. The selection of persons who sit on the interview panel is at the discretion of the organisation.
- Experience: Interviews will focus on your CV and experience relevant to the role as well as specific examples of your past behaviour that demonstrate the required skills.
- Special needs/ Requirements: Please highlight any special needs or requirements you may have in relation to your attendance at interview.
4. Final Selection
- The selection process continues after interviews (if successful) and includes:
- References from two previous employers, with one being your most recent supervisor.
- Garda Vetting and/or Police Clearance.
- Occupational Health checks.
- Verification of qualifications and/or professional registration.
Note: Your progression in the selection process may be withdrawn if you fail to provide proof of your qualifications, training, or experience.
5. Onboarding
- Acceptance: Formally accept the job offer.
- Hire: Complete assigned onboarding tasks on Rezoomo.
- Induction: Participate in induction program.
