Dr Sucheta Johnson started her medical career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2001 by doing post graduation in Punjab, India. She has been a part of Irish Medical system since 2006.
She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (MRCPI) since 2007 and Royal college of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), London since 2010.
She has been working as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist since 2017 and served as a private Gynaecologist with Barrington’s Hospital since 2019 . From August 2025 she committed as a full time private Gynaecologist with Bon secours Hospital.
Her main areas of interest are benign gynaecology e.g. Management of menstrual disorders starting from teenage, postmenopausal bleeding and prolapse management with pessaries. Dr Johnson performs minimal invasive surgery including laparoscopy and hysteroscopic removal of both polyps and fibroids but also provides major surgical procedures such as removal of the womb and prolapse surgery. Endometriosis treatment ovarian cysts, fertility issues, IUCD insertions and removals, contraceptive advice, management of menopausal symptoms and HRT advice and treatment are provided by Dr Johnson.
