Mr Padraic Regan is a Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who qualified from the National University of Ireland, Galway, in 1981. He completed his general surgical training in Galway and Dublin before pursuing specialist training in Plastic Surgery at Stoke Mandeville, Plymouth, and Oxford. Mr Regan was appointed as a Plastic Surgeon at Stoke Mandeville in 1993, and in 1997, he joined the consultant staff at Galway University Hospital, where he continues to practice.
Mr Regan has held several prestigious roles in the field of plastic surgery. He served as a member of the Surgical Advisory Committee (SAC) for five years and was an Examiner and Assessor for the Intercollegiate Exams in Plastic Surgery from 2002 to 2014. He is currently the Chairman of the Medical Board at Galway University Hospital and a lecturer at the National University of Ireland, Galway. In addition, he is the current President of the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons, reflecting his leadership in the field.
Mr Regan has extensive experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery, having trained at leading institutions in Ireland and the UK. His expertise spans a wide range of plastic surgery procedures, gained through decades of practice in both public and private healthcare settings.
