Mr Alan Hussey is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon based in Galway, Ireland. He graduated from NUI Galway and completed his internship before entering the Western Pre-fellowship Surgical Training Scheme. He pursued Higher Surgical Training in Ireland and earned his FRCS (Plast). Mr Hussey further refined his expertise through specialised fellowships in the UK and Australia.
Clinical Expertise
Mr Hussey specialises in reconstructive surgery following cancer resection, with a particular focus on microsurgical reconstruction of the breast and head and neck regions. As a fellowship-trained hand surgeon, he treats a wide range of hand conditions and skin cancers. In addition to his reconstructive work, Mr Hussey has a special interest in cosmetic surgery, particularly breast surgery and body contouring.
