Dr Damien Ryan graduated from UCC in 1998 and completed higher specialist training in Emergency Medicine in 2009. He undertook fellowship training in pre-hospital and transport medicine at the University of Toronto in 2009 and worked in 2 major trauma centres in Toronto in this period.
He was appointed as Consultant in Emergency Medicine in Limerick in 2010. He holds the title of Adjunct Clinical Professor in Emergency Medicine at the University of Limerick.
