Niall is a graduate of University College Dublin, Ireland and undertook basic surgical training with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI). He completed his Higher Surgical Training in urology in 2017 and completed his fellowship in minimally invasive (robotic and laparoscopic) urological surgery in Melbourne in 2019.
He is fellowship trained in robotic and laparoscopic upper urinary tract surgery (i.e. kidney and ureter) and also fellowship trained in all aspects of kidney stone surgery and general urological conditions.
Prof. Davis is a senior lecturer for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and works as a consultant urologist in Beaumont Hospital as well as at Bon Secours, Dublin. He completed a PhD in tissue-engineering in the University of Limerick and has 200 publications in indexed medical journals. He has a special interest in undergraduate teaching for medical students.
