Mr Mohammed Yousif is a Consultant Otolaryngologist (ENT Surgeon) with a subspecialist interest in Head and Neck Surgery. He holds an MBBS, MRCS (ENT), FRCS (ORL–HNS), a Postgraduate Diploma in Patient Safety and Human Factors from RCSI, and an MCh in Otolaryngology and Head & Neck Surgery from Edge Hill University.
Mr Yousif joins us from the Southern Health and Social Care Trust in Northern Ireland, where he worked as a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a focus on Head and Neck Surgery. After moving to Ireland in 2015 for specialist ENT training, he completed five years of higher ENT training in the UK, including senior fellowships at University Hospital Coventry, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, and a dedicated Head and Neck Fellowship at Leicester Royal Infirmary. He also has broad experience across all areas of general ENT practice.
He has a particular interest in the management of head and neck cancers, with extensive experience in both surgical treatment and multidisciplinary care. His academic interests include research in robotic ENT surgery and undergraduate medical education, and he has served as an Honorary Lecturer at RCSI. He has also undertaken observerships at internationally recognised centres in Sydney and Toronto.
