Staff and Management of Bon Secours Hospital Tralee together, raised €5000 for the Palliative Care Unit of University Hospital Kerry (UHK).
In raising this amount, staff were involved in 3 separate fundraising events:
1.Staff of Bon Secours Hospital Tralee pedalled with power in aid of the Palliative Care Unit.
As part of the Bon Secours Health System Virtual Cycling Challenge, the Bon Secours Health System donated €1 per Kilometre cycled by each staff member. The amount raised €837 which was generously doubled by the Hospital.
2.A pound for a pound - Staff of Bon Secours Hospital Tralee took part in a Healthy, Happy weight loss competition which raised a total of €416.
3.Shhhhh! Karen Slattery, CNM2 completed a Sponsored Silence. The whole department got behind Karen in raising €910 for Palliative care.
