Bon Secours Health System was delighted to welcome over 250 delegates to this year’s Nursing and Quality Conference.

Organised under the theme ‘Vision for the Future: Opportunities for Nursing, Quality & Patient Safety’, the conference was held on 9th October at The Strand Hotel in Limerick.

Our goal was to treat the nursing community to an inspiring day of learning, insights and networking. Attendees joining us had opportunities to engage with industry leaders, explore the latest in patient safety, and discuss strategies shaping the future of nursing and quality care.

Guest speakers contributing expertise on the day included Bill Maher (Bon Secours Health System Group CEO), Sean Egan (HIQA Director of Healthcare Regulation), Dr Colm Henry (HSE Chief Clinical Officer) and Deirdre Madden (UCC Professor of Law).

A key topic of discussion was the opening of our new Bon Secours Hospital in Limerick in 2025. The Limerick team were available on the day to answer any queries and discuss employment opportunities coming up in the new year. Thank you to the organisers and everyone who attended.
