Bon Secours Hospital Galway is delighted to host the annual General Practice Nurse and Advanced Nurse Practitioner Symposium on Saturday 7th March at The Connacht Hotel.
The programme provides practical updates for primary care, with sessions covering cardiovascular risk assessment tools in general practice, urology cheats, managing the intersection of prediabetes, obesity and cardiovascular risk, eye care red flags, osteoporosis management in primary care, and running an advanced nurse practitioner led menopause clinic.

The day also includes a “Chatting with” session with Miriam O’Callaghan, TV and Radio Presenter and Best Selling Author. This is followed by a keynote address from Mr Richard Hogan, Psychotherapist and Author, on how to do more than just survive work, thriving.
Welcome and introduction will be delivered by Ms Siobhan Judge, Director of Nursing and Clinical Services, Bon Secours Hospital Galway. The symposium will close with a prize draw led by Mr Henry Burrows, CEO, Bon Secours Hospital Galway.
