Owen McCarthy, Mission Lead, presents €2000 Community Initiative Funding to Aspect, a support service developed specifically for adults with Asperger Syndrome/ High Functioning Autism

Aspect provides specialist support and intervention to almost 100 adults in County Kerry with Asperger Syndrome / High Functioning Autism. Asperger Syndrome is a condition on the Autism Spectrum which can vary from one person to another. Asperger’s Syndrome commonly effects social communication, social interaction, social imagination and sensory processing. 


Key Workers at Aspect liaise with training agencies, educational institutions, medical professionals, housing agencies and employment services to support clients and promote awareness, education and the understanding of Asperger Syndrome / High Functioning Autism.
