May Measurement Month is a global initiative led by the International Society of Hypertension and the World Hypertension League. This initiative was set up in 2005 to raise awareness around blood pressure worldwide. Occupational Health Nurse Suzanne Doyle, Cardiac Rehabilitation Clinical Nurse Specialist Marie Flynn and Clinical Nurse Specialist Diabetes Marie Nolan set up a stand in Bon Secours Hospital Tralee today where everyone could get their blood pressure and glucose levels checked.
