BSHS Donates to Irish Guide Dogs

Andrew McCarthy and Ken Joyce from Bon Secours Hospital Cork came out to HQ to present Caoilfhionn Lee, Head of Operations, John Burke, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Evelyn Power, Corporate Partnerships Executive and Ari the Assistance Dog in training with part of their donation.

Through its Community Initiative Fund, Bon Secours Hospital Cork are kindly donating €30K over the year for the Assistance Dog programme which supports families of children with Autism.

John Burke, Corporate Partnerships Manager for Irish Guide Dogs said:

“It is only through the public's generosity and the support from frameworks such as that of the Bon Secours community initiative programme that we are able to help families of children with autism achieve independence and mobility. 85% of our income comes from fundraising and donations from the public.

We thank all of the staff and management of Bon Secours Cork for their very generous investment in our Assistance Dog programme.”
