There was a super turnout at the Sports Care update conference in Páirc Uí Chaoimh on Monday 28th of August last in conjunction with the Cork GAA and the Bon Secours Hospital Cork. Chaired By Dr Adrian Kelleher who is doctor to the Senior Football team, the event focused particularly on keeping players healthy to maximise performance and everything from cardiac health, strength and conditioning, ACLs and lifestyle medicine for players.
Participants included Dr Keith Morrice - Consultant Cardiologist, Mr Declan Bowler - Orthopaedic & Sports Surgeon and Diarmaid Duggan - Dietetics Manager at the Bon Secours Hospital Cork and Adam Doyle Strength and Conditioning coach to the Senior Football team.
