Introducing our new CEO at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin Ms Sharon Morrow

We are very pleased to welcome Sharon Morrow as the new CEO of the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin.  Ms Morrow brings a wealth of experience to her new role having previously held senior roles in the public, private and voluntary sector. Most recently she was Director of the All-Island Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) Network, which manages a cross-border service delivery model for congenital heart disease in children.

Sharon originally trained as a nurse in the Adelaide Hospital in Dublin and later a project manager at Tallaght University Hospital. She also worked as a Directorate Business Manager at St James’s Hospital and as National Clinical Care Programme Manager with the HSE, before returning to Tallaght University Hospital as Deputy CEO and chief operations officer and was CEO of the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice, before joining the All-Island CHD Network.

Speaking about her appointment, Ms Morrow said: “I am delighted to be joining Bon Secours Health System at a time of great expansion and am excited to work with, and contribute to, the experienced team in Glasnevin to help them continue the exceptional care for which they are known.”

Sharon joins the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin at a particularly busy time with work well underway on a new €14m surgical and oncology day ward that is on schedule to open in June 2023.

The Bon Secours Group in Ireland is part of the Bon Secours Mercy Health Group based in Ohio. The Irish arm operates a number of private hospitals and clinics around the country. It employs about 3,700 people.
