We pride ourselves on having a group of very committed and truly professional nurses.

The Nursing philosophy at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin is to provide the highest quality of holistic care to our patients by dedicated, committed and compassionate staff. The Department includes over 420 highly skilled nurses and care assistants who work as part of a multidisciplinary team including consultants, registrars, doctors and allied health care for the benefit of the patients. All patients are treated with respect, justice and compassion in line with the mission and values of the Bon Secours Sisters ensuring that their physical, emotional and spiritual needs are met. We place the patient at the centre of everything we do so that during each and every hospital visit or stay that the patient receives the highest standard of evidence based clinical care. 

We promote and support nurse practice development to ensure the nursing service is up to date with national and international best practice guidelines relating to patient care. We provide in- service education and courses in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland standards.  

The Bon Secours Hospital Dublin is accredited as a student training site for the DCU Bachelor of Nursing Children and General (BNCG)  Degree programme.
