General Internal Medicine
The General Internal Medicine Consultant team at the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin treat a broad range of illnesses and disorders including respiratory, gastroenterology, liver, renal and rheumatology amongst others.
Referred patients are admitted or seen in rooms and assessed under the care of the following consultant team:
• Dr Colette Barry
• Dr Ger Hosny
• Dr Rory Mc Quillan
• Dr Emmet O Brien
Patients requiring admission will have direct access to a bed with rapid out-patient follow-up post discharge. Those not requiring admission will have timely clinic appointments confirmed.
Referral Pathway
• Directly to the consultant by email (see appointments below) via Healthmail
• Via the Healthlink Central Referral portal either naming the consultant or stating next available
• Via the Hospital Medical Liaison team – amion@bonsecours.ie
Insurance
The Bon Secours Hospital Dublin has excellent insurance coverage in place with all private health insurance companies. With the exception of Public Hospital Plans, most other plans are covered and any potential excesses associated with a policy will be discussed with a patient prior to admission.
