Our Mission, Culture and Ethos
Bon Secours is French for “good help”. The Bon Secours Mission is “good help to those in need”.
Our Mission is to Minister to the sick, the suffering, the dying and their families, in other words, “those in need”. This is why Bon Secours Health System exists.
Our Mission is what we do, why we do it and how we do it.
As we, the staff of BSHS, endeavour to live our Mission and Core Values, these are reflected in our behaviours every day, in how we are with each as colleagues, with the patients, their families and all who come in contact with us through our work, our “good help”.
Our dedicated staff take great pride in and ownership for the care they deliver to patients across a broad range of services including in-patient, out-patient, acute and elective services. We could not provide this excellent care without our committed staff in whom we respect, value and invest.
