Last Sunday, the Kerry Expo was held in the INEC in Killarney and we had a stand there. We used our stand to promote awareness around the importance of good cardiac and respiratory health and to inform people about what we can offer in this regard. Breda (from this office), Katie and Alan (our Marketing/ Creative experts) designed our stand and with the help of Gerry and Reggie, put it up early on Sunday morning. Mary Nagle, Ann Ryan, and Lilyann Alves then manned the stand with Breda and Katie working the crowd with 1000 leaflets advertising our offering. The end result was that our stand had queues in front of it literally all day and our team ended up winning an award for the 'Most Interactive' stand (in other words, the most visited).
This is just a quick note to say thanks to everyone involved with Sundays initiative. A huge amount of work went into preparing for it and on the day, everyone present did an incredible job. Having witnessed it at first hand, I was extremely proud of our team as each and every one of them were fabulous ambassadors for our Hospital.
