Biography

Mr Curran, originally from County Donegal, graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2001. He was awarded Fellowship of The College (plastic surgery section) in 2012 and was awarded a certificate of completion of surgical training in 2013. Mr Curran then undertook reconstructive surgery fellowships in the UK at The Royal Free Hospital, London and at Broomfield Hospital’s St. Andrew’s Centre for Plastic Surgery and Burns. Mr Curran then completed a further reconstructive surgery fellowship in the USA at The John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore and a cosmetic surgery fellowship at The New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai.

 

Specialist Interest

Mr Curran practices in most aspects of plastic and reconstructive surgery, with specialist interests in skin cancer surgery, microvascular surgery, breast reconstruction and cosmetic surgery.

Biography

Mr Suciu trained in both Europe and the UK. He received his medical degree from Carol Davila University of Bucharest in 2002. From there he became a Teaching Assistant in 2004 and subsequently Assistant Professor in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 2007, at University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" Bucharest.

He specialises in Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Microsurgery since 2009, having completed his PhD in 2010. He continued his plastic surgical training in London where he worked in several prestigious hospitals, both NHS and private. He received Licence to Practise Plastic Surgery as a specialist with GMC - UK since 2010 and IMC – Ireland since 2018. Currently he was appointed to the position of Consultant Plastic Surgeon in the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee, as part of  the JC Plastic Surgery team.
