Dr. Arig Mussa has worked in the Bons Secours Hospital Tralee since 2012. Over a number of years Dr. Mussa has collaborated with Consultant Radiologist Dr. Ciaran Healy in the Radiology Department with various reseach projects and audits. In 2017 Dr. Mussa was successful in presenting a poster entitled “MRI characterisation of liver lesions detected on ultrasound – a single centre study” at the Irish MRI National Meeting organised by the Faculty of Radiology, RCSI. Recently, Dr. Mussa has had further success with a scientifica manuscript written up with Dr. Healy entitled “Primary Squamous Cell carcinoma of the pancreas: case report and literature review”. This work has recently been accepted for publication by an international peer review journal Annals of Pancreatic Cancer and is due for publication in 2021. Dr. Mussa has worked with great enthusiasm, dilligence and dedication and her tireless work has paid off with this recent success.
