Dr Orla O’ Mahony has recently being appointed a consultant Histopathologist in the Bon Secours hospital.
Orla graduated in medicine from University College Cork. Having completed MRCPI, she undertook Histopathology training in the West of Scotland, including training in the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, the largest pathology department in the UK. She has worked as a consultant Histopathologist in Scotland in many disciplines, and subsequently subspecialised in GI pathology and Dermatopathology in Southmead hospital, Bristol.
She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists, a member of the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the Association of Clinical Pathologists.
