The Bon Secours Hospital, Cork is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr James O'Leary, MB, BCh, BAO, BMedSci, MM(Clin Epi), MD, FCARCSI, Consultant Anaesthetist.
Dr. James O’Leary graduated from UCC in 2003 and completed specialty training on the Irish national anaesthesia training program in 2012. He completed subspecialty fellowship training in paediatric anaesthesia (2009-10) at The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, and was a Consultant Anesthesiologist in the Division of Cardiac Anesthesia at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, from 2012 to 2018.
In addition, Dr. O’Leary obtained a Masters degree in clinical epidemiology from the University of Sydney (Australia) and a Doctoral degree in anaesthesia research from UCC. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at the University of Toronto and an Adjunct Scientist at the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences, Toronto.
