Mr Nasir Ahmad is a Consultant General Surgeon at the Bon Secours Hospital Tralee. Mr Ahmad graduated from the University of Punjab in 1991 before becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2003. Mr Ahmad completed a Masters of Medical Science (Surgery) in NUI Galway in 2008 and went on to become a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland (General Surgery) in 2014. Mr Ahmad was awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Professional Education from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and became a Fellow of the European Board of Surgery-General Surgery in 2016. Mr Ahmad has a specialist interest in Colorectal surgery and is primarily involved in the management of Colorectal cancer and also in the management of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
