We are pleased to have the opportunity to announce the commencement in full-time private practice of Dr. Aonghus O’Loughlin, Consultant in Diabetes Mellitus, Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
Dr. O’Loughlin is a graduate of NUIG (2003) and he has since trained in the area of Endocrinology and Diabetes Mellitus in Beaumont, St. Vincent’s and St. Michael’s Hospitals, Dublin. Since 2013, Dr. O’Loughlin has been working as a Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist in Roscommon and Galway University Hospitals.
Dr. O’Loughlin will provide specialist Endocrine and General Internal Medical services to patients referred to his care and we are very pleased to welcome him to this hospital. Dr. O’Loughlin is available to accept elective and urgent admissions and he will also join our rapid access acute referral Medical Assessment Unit service from next week.
