Congratulations to Dr Hadia Khan, Medical SHO who recently has been selected to speak at the Annual ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncology) meetng in Chicago Illinois.
Dr Khan submitted her abstract for consideration at the 2019 ASCO Annual Meeting at the McCormick Place Convention Cener in Chicago, Illinois. The title of Dr Khan's poster was “Utility of somatic mutation panel testing in patients with advanced cancer receiving treatment in an Irish teaching hospital”. This year, more than 6,200 abstracts were reviwed by the Scientific Program Committee and ASCO leadership and we are delighted that Dr Khan's abstract was select. Dr Conleth Murphy, Consultant Medical Oncologist was the senior author and that the medical oncologist team looked at advanced genetic testng of over 100 patients' cancers.
