Bon Secours Hospital Tralee Regional Winner at the 27th Annual Occupational Safety Awards 2018, hosted by The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO)

Bon Secours Hospital Tralee was awarded a NISO Regional Award – ‘Best Organisation in the South Region’ at the Awards Presentation which took place recently in The Great Southern Hotel Killarney

The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) is operating since 1963.  NISO works to promote and improve health and safety at work by providing a leading information advisory and training service, encouraging a culture of excellence in workplace health and safety, playing a leading role in advancing the national health and safety agenda;

The Occupational Safety awards, which are recognised throughout Ireland, have been running nationally for 27 years.  The awards aim is to assist organisations to move forward, constantly innovating and changing the environment of health and safety in the workplace. 

Congratulations and well done to all involved in particular the Health & Safety Committee (Maria Carmody, Suzanne Doyle, Breda Doyle, Catherine Evans Doyle, Mary Reidy, Marian Reidy, Gerry Ryan, Ger O’Mahony, Garett Foley, Jacinta O’Sullivan, Sr Aidan, Karen Slattery, Tania O’Sullivan, Yvonne Doherty and ADON; This is a major achievement for the Management and Staff of Bon Secours Hospital Tralee and highlights our commitment to health and safety within the hospital environment;
